Gold Sponsor Highlight: Building a Better World and Better WordPress Sites with WooCommerce and Jetpack

What is your name and what do you do for your company?

Stephen Quirk, Events Wrangler with a focus on WordCamps!

What is the mission of your company?

WooCommerce’s roadmap starts with our mission, which is our steadfast commitment and purpose as a company. It serves as the standard against which we weigh our actions and decisions; helping you publish and sell online, with tools we use ourselves

From day one, Jetpack’s mission has been to bring feature parity between WordPress sites hosted on WordPress.com and those hosted elsewhere. Jetpack is a WordPress plugin that bundles together a range of tools that give you the power to design, secure, and grow your site.

What makes your products or services unique?

WooCommerce is a fully customizable eCommerce tool that allows you to build a store tailored to your specific business needs and objectives. Sell anything, anywhere, with no restrictions. And because it’s developed and supported by a distributed team across the globe, it’s accessible, flexible, and constantly improving.

Jetpack is a WordPress plugin that bundles together a range of tools that give you the power to design, secure, and grow your site. With Jetpack, you can…

  • customize your site with free themes, image tools, and rich content.
  • increase your traffic through automatic social sharing, related content, and faster load times.
  • stay safe with secure logins and protection from brute force attacks.

Why do you love WordPress?

We love WordPress because of its open-source nature and the dedicated community that both uses and builds it. Not only do WordCamps help us spread the word about our products, they allow us to connect directly with WordPress users with many levels of experience.

  1. I didn’t see this until just now in the dashboard of a new Site I’m building and tickets are already sold out. I wish I’d seen it sooner!

    1. So sorry Stan. We try to promote as much as possible in the months leading up to the event. You can follow us on social media to keep up with ticket sales each year. We often sell out a week or two in advance. Here are our links:

You can also join our email list and we will alert you to the dates and tickets sales each year.
